When a newly established craft brewery in Chisinau, Moldova has approached me for production and marketing consulting, it was apparent that they also needed some branding to launch their beers on the market. This is how Tenemu was created.

Tenemu is one of the many variations for the word "beer" in Ancient Egyptian, and since the brewers wanted to avoid any traditional European connotations in their brand, this seemed like a perfect fit for them. And of course, a logo for the project was also needed. This is the result.

My primary inspiration was, obviously, the silhouette of the Great Pyramids in Giza. Yet, I wanted to go with a modern and minimalist style for the logo, which would be easily applied to a variety of mediums. Combining these two key aspects was how the final logo was created. 

Apart from the logo, I also developed a series of label/banner designs for different styles of beer the brewery planned to produce (the recipes for which were also drafted by me).
