I have been honoured with once again designing the Newby Advent calendar, now on its 4th successful consecutive year. The Newby Advent calendar has become somewhat of a tradition in the luxury gift world and is a much-anticipated concept, where consumers and fans await for the next design. 

For this year's concept, the calendar pays homage to the timeless Japanese tea ceremony. A ceremony which is still practiced today and upheld by the Japanese people and those who study and dedicate their lives to creating and serving incredible tea. The calendar also pays its respects to the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic games where the calendar will be available from Autumn, through all of 2020.
