The Wave Concept
The Un-p3 Project is an on-going experiment on how lowvolume manufacturing technologies can be applied to a consumer electronicproduct in this case a simple Mp3 Player. Till date I have developed 2concepts, the Haptic and Wave concepts.
The Haptic concept uses laser cut plywood to develop its unique housing. The Wave concept was created using rapid prototyping technologies. Inboth instances, the industrial design has been inspired by the manufacturing processand conceptualized to take advantage of the manufacturing technologies.
