The project consists of the alternative design of the brand commemorating the centenary of the creation of the German Bauhaus school (1919-1933) worldwide, together with the design of a set of pictograms representing the work Triadic Ballet (1922) by Oskar Schlemmer, professor at the same German institution.

The Bauhaus was one of the most important design schools of the 20th century and in the history of design, whose legacy has transcended to the present day. This project, through the investigation of the school and its context (historical, artistic and socio-cultural), proposes to manifest the principles and philosophy of the school. The graphic system, understood from the design of the corporate visual identity and the pictograms with their respective applications, are constructed under characteristic Bauhaus concepts such as: geometry, form, color or visual principles.

The choice of the main type is due to the context in which Futura was developed, as well as its functional features. Although Paul Renner didn´t belong to the Bauhaus, he did know all the experimentation and typographic innovation that Futura gathers.

FF Bau type, designed by Christian Schwartz, was inspired by the Grotesk of Schelter & Giesecke of the late 19th century, a type widely used in the Bauhaus.

Color was one of the fundamental aspects in the education of the Bauhaus. 100 Bauhaus collects Kandinsky's color studies, where he relates color to form (Scheme of line-plane-color correlations).

Baugrams are a set of pictograms representing the characters of Oskar Schlemmer's Triadic Ballet, a theatrical show that was a great success at its premiere in Stuttgart in 1922 for its creativity and originality. Although it was conceived before Oskar Schlemmer entered the Bauhaus as a professor, it´s considered an emblematic work for its contribution to the work of the institution.

The term "Baugram" is the result of the union of the concepts "Bau-" and "-gram". Both concepts come from the compound words Bauhaus and pictogram.

The construction of the Baugrams was carried out using the same grid and a series of geometric modular elements for all the Baugrams, taking as a reference the original figurative plan of the Triadic Ballet designed by Oskar Schlemmer in 1919.
