The Client

Volunteering Journeys, offers an opportunity to anyone concerned about global issues to travel and make a difference through volunteering. With its roots in India, they are able to organise exciting volunteering programmes in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia that are guaranteed to be incredible life–changing experiences for those who join them. Their programmes have been carefully developed based on their grassroots experience and expertise, and draws on the expansive professional networks in education, women’s empowerment, health care, animal conservation etc. – the list is long and there is lots to do!

The Objective

To design a brochure targeted towards the sponsors who help in taking the organisation forward.

The Solution

Having placed a quote on partnership etched on the brochure cover, it set the mood fo the sponsors to see what would unfold inside. Brand colours were used for 2 purposes. Firstly to integrate the brand with its the visual collateral. Secondarily, one could quickly flip through the brochure and get a overview of its contents without reading all of it. To make the brochure pleasurable to flick through good photos as well as iconography were incorporated throughout. Typography was used judiciously to balance the overall look of this brochure.
