(Toub El Ahmar)
Red bricks is the literal translation from Arabic to English of the basic material used for urban and rural constructions.  Red bricks are seen everywhere you go in the streets of Cairo. There are always buildings being built, others being repaired and some pulled down! Almost never absent, they seem to define the busy streets of Cairo still.  This is not a protest about having them thrown all over the streets of Cairo, its just a moment of admiring the beauty within such a rough material that could pass us by.  These are photographs taken one warm afternoon in Cairo while drinking tea.
