Air Canada — Brand & Advertising platform

Inspired by the plane’s new livery, these visuals are a natural extension of the most visible and recognizable icon of our airline:
its aircrafts. At the heart of it is The Mask, which is the design around the windshield, and The Black Belly—two elements that are truly unique and identifiable to Air Canada. All executed in a cohesive, strong, efficient and differentiated platform to make Canadians proud to fly with the largest airline in Canada. The unique design of the platform ensures that The Mask and The Belly imagery come together to form a window to the world that will contain snapshots of trips, bringing to life the essence of travelling with Air Canada—much like real beautiful memories.

1. The Mask
Inspired by the facial markings of Canada’s indigenous birds, as well as by wildlife representations found in early native culture. The clean shape of The Mask duplicates the shape of the front windows and celebrates the flight deck. It’s primary role is to capture the experience of travel in creative. Across all touch points, this serves as a reminder of the Air Canada brand.

2. The Belly
The aircraft belly is painted black to distinctly unify the Air Canada fleet.A unique element identifiable to Air Canada that helps the brand stand out above the airline brand noise.
