This is a modular typeface I designed for my Typography class. I created it using FontStruct, which is a free online font-building tool, where fonts can be built, shared, and downloaded. T3ch is a display typeface and was created and made public in 2013. I wanted to create a very technological feel with the typeface, so I created shorter edges in some desenders and ears. I named my typeface “T3ch” because the typeface has a very futuristic and technological look, and I wanted the name to have the same impression so instead of an “e” I used a “3”. I tried to make the letterforms resemble a typeface that is displayed on my field hockey stick. Consistency was one thing I kept in mind while constructing all the letterforms to create a uniformed look. You can download the full upper and lower case character sets on fontstruct for free.
