About this project:
For the brief “Lost” I have chosen to choose the topic of gaming,
and how the effects of gaming can be damaging to a persons behaviour
and social awareness. I plan to talk about gaming as a topic of concern, the focus of the ISTD book will be how to help those who are effected by gaming and how they can stay in touch with reality and facing real world problems instead of ignoring them. Through research there has been a new discovery of a gaming disorder, making the topic prevalent and concerning in todays society. I plan to focus my audience on those who want to learn how to manage their gaming and also a manual for parents, teachers, partners and family members etc, on how they can educate themselves in helping someone close to them. In conjunction with the book, I plan on producing a leaflet that can be readily available in places of work, college, schools, and even GPs. I will be using examples of games that have taken over in the past year and why these games are so addictive, while also discussing the relationship between gaming
and gambling.
