Visual Identity for 2018 Year of Cultural Tourism of Catalonia.

As part of the government’s strategic plan to promote tourism in Catalonia, culture became the main focus of that year’s marketing communications, with a need to represent and enhance the region’s cultural heritage.

It is impossible to represent the culture heterogeneity in a single image. Based on this premise, we avoided the figurative world and represented this diversity using an abstract universe. This allowed us to generate a graphic system with endless versions of the 2018. This is also used to illustrate the most singular scenes of Catalan Culture. The logo is the synthesis of all of it.
