The Coffee House Signature

"What defines a great day? Wake up, get a cup of coffee on the way to work and head up for a nice old ritual. The pleasure is contagious. After all, it's all about the feel-good thing."

The Coffee House Signature

The Coffee House Signature is the flagship store in a popular chain of coffee shops of the same name. Coffee has long been nothing less than a daily ritual for Vietnamese people, whether they are slowly sipping iced black coffee in the early morning, or chatting with colleagues with a thick milky bac-siu in hand.

A nice cup of coffee

To the founder, the TCH Signature isn't just merely a house that serves specialty coffee, since there is no such definition, but rather a place to connect fellow souls, who share the same passion and love for the beans - the people that make coffee special.

The Contour

We choose contour drawings to depict the vivid life in a coffee shop. This is drawing the outline of the subject. Its beauty lies in the essentiality by focusing on the mass and depth of the form & trimming out all the cumbersome details. Each path, each edge is left with the rawest emotion. And above all, it replicates a signature.

For brand identity in generals, and the packaging in particular, we created simple designs and highlighted the drawings to embrace the spirit of rawness. We realized that a separate package for each type of coffee would cause a waste of resources - something that a sustainable entrepreneur like TCH would avoid. Therefore we propose a single form of packaging for all types of coffee beans.

Detailed information like roasted level, the production date is included on the tastecard, which introduces the origin of the beans and their unique flavors. The coffee bean origin visuals are inspired by the local culture of the growing regions.
