What will Gerry do?

What will Gerry do?
A walk through Copenhagen as I imagine it through Gerry's eyes. August 2019
Gerry looks at you calmly. Deep yellow eyes - still warm waters - that make you feel like home. A wee smile on the corner of his mouth already makes you aware about the wit that's about to come.

Yesterday Gerry went to the barber shop, and was proud of his ball cut. Today his sister calls and suggest: Gerry it's time to get your hair done.

To me his hair looked fine.
Gerry is deeply curious. But sometimes looks through the useless windows.
He's soon about to find a better window.
Hello there! Nice smile :)
Sometimes Gerry likes to be alone. Spend time on his own.
In quiet empty spaces. They make him feel calm. And at home.
Like this man here. Sleeping alone.
Gerry sometimes goes far from his home. To the other side of the island, where the mini markeD awaits, grey and monochrome.
When crossing the bridge
Gerry fears
The other end
He won't be able to reach.
That's why he's always bringing with him everything that he needs.
And is trained and certified in emergency evacuation techniques.
For example he could slide down these pipes in less than 5 seconds, if he needs.
But sometimes Gerry just wants to play. Then he goes to the port and counts containers, collects samples of paint, and classifies them according to Pantone tones, in his little white book.
Gerry used to come here to play basketball, but lately spends his days learning something new.
This is his master, who initiates him in the arts of kung-fu.
Every morning he has to climb up the scaffolds, and hang from a rope upside down, until his ears start to grow. Wide enough to collect all the sounds that come and go. And breathe together with them, as if there is no difference in flow.
Then he has to become like this tower. And stand tall against the drift, until his body becomes particles of wind.
Here goes the final challenge: facing his ego. He has to let go of all his belongings and learn how to become invisible.
And be present with or without comfort.
Keep thinking about what he is and what he might become.
But now it's time to head home.
Gerry is counting the trees on this alley checking if double-checking if all of them are still green.
He runs quickly through this section, to make sure he doesn't cross paths with anyone. Because he's heading to his secret place. His own private head-space.
Stops for a second or three under this old and loving birch tree.
To clear his mind and heart. And for his body to unwind.
Before he enters his home. Where life is never today like the one before.
