DESOLATE|RENOVATE: Gas holder No.1 (2018)

My final university project is inspired by abandoned industrial architecture, iconic British structures left to decay. The popular opinion is to remove the relics, the project offers an alternate solution, whereby the gas holder would be used as a Multi-functional arts & concert space, supporting local musicians and artists. Based in the heart of Glasgow's east end, the Gas Holder measures over 80 meters in diameter, offering the ideal space for music concerts and special effects events.
