I tend to thrive in situations where rapid problem solving is needed. Which is why I love production so much! I was on set with director Steve Cachero for a commercial shoot for Mostra Coffee (2019 roaster of the year).

I was wearing multiple hats including gaf, grip and 2nd AC, as well as shooting photos in between setups.

In this situation I was capturing moments I thought would compliment the shots/setups the director (in this case also the DP) was already using.

But since I'm shooting stills I can grab moments from the production that aren't on film.

Like some tasty macro shots.

And some shots could add value to the production in general.
