I have a younger brother going through puberty and unfortunately he has some bad hygiene habits that I encounter all too often. So I decided to make a poster series for pre-teens and teens to help them realize what habits they are doing that are gross and bad. I decided to call my project Other People Live Here so adolescents would consider how their gross habits affect the ones around them. I wanted to make my posters trendy, cute, and funny. I also took photographs of my posters in the environment they would be in. My posters are 16 inches by 20 inches. In the future I may extend this to a blog or website and also make smaller versions of my posters to fit better in homes. I may also make stickers from the posters and a ticket you would give to the adolescent when they elicit bad hygiene behavior to help them realize they should not be doing that. I encourage anyone who has encountered other bad hygiene habits to make a poster or message me a bad habit and I can make a poster to add to the series.
For my logo I was thinking about germs so I decided to make my logo of an amoeba eating the type. With a tagline of Hygiene Donts.
