COLORFUL | Tribute to RetroGaming
- PREMIUM MEDIA FOR EMULATION FRONTEND -
I introduce you COLORFUL. A personal project, around the creation of high quality media for retrogramming. (Emulator, FrontEnd ...) At first, I wanted to create a simple and clear interface for my children. That they have easy access to my childhood video games.
Today, there are two axes of development : a theme for BigBox (LaunchBox Frontend) and a set of platform video. All available for free!

Creating videos & theme takes a loooooot of time. Any graphic designer knows that. And I have to deal with a full-time CGI artist job and 2 young kids. So I opened a Patreon page that could allow me to dedicate days on my work time to continue creating video.

PART.1 | COLORFUL THEME
This free theme for BigBox is design to be used on the big screen (TV) in gaming console mode. Modern, elegant and animated are the key words of this interface. A bit of freshness in emulation, with massive number of 80's UI! Currently in BETA, I still have a lot of ideas to improve it.

PART.2 | COLORFUL PLATFORM VIDEO
To feed this theme, I needed media presenting each game platform. So I started this HUGE project: create a video, in an elegent way, presenting every single game system... Yes, it represents a lot of video. But the project is beautiful, I think. Have a unique graphic line, presenting the whole history of the video game. And because I may not have time to do everything, I will post all sources in free acces (PS & AE), if other want to help me in this project. As I write this text, I have already made 60 videos, in 4K.
By the way, all videos are photomontage, except arcade cabinet, realized by me in full CGI. It remains my job! =)
