Aloft (formerly Freedom Weekend Aloft) is an event management company located in Simpsonville, SC. Their main event is held on Memorial Day Weekend. Many people had the perception that this event was not for the average family looking for a fun outing.
Our way of breaking through that perception was to poke a little fun at it to show that Aloft is not just for people who enjoy the simple things of life, but for all people who enjoy adventure, quality music, quality beer and quality food.

The purpose of these boards was simply to advertise the talent that was to be at Aloft, keeping in the same vein as the poster campaign.
OUTDOOR
These outdoor boards' placement was out of market, and so they required a different strategy. People seeing these billboards probably hadn't even heard of Aloft, so there was no perception problem. The purpose of these boards was simply to capture attention and create a buzz, driving people to the website.
