The Challenge:
Build upon and leverage the design language of the Cync Smart Switch product family to create a new subcategory within the Cync brand, doubling the current product portfolio and pushing the brand (and the entire smart lighting category) into new territory, while also defining a Experience Brand Language (EBL) to inform the design of all future products under the Cync brand.
The Outcome:
Cync’s battery powered product lineup is designed to carry over the simple, intuitive, universal and approachable nature of the brand. They are designed to not only be instantly understood, but also fit into any context within the home and adapt to the needs of the user. Careful consideration was given to the design of each product in order to communicate a consistent brand experience that delivers on the brand promise, while also delighting the end user, making smart home lighting truly accessible to all.
As a battery-powered solution, Cync's Wire-Free smart products can be easily installed, enabling smart control from anywhere in your room- no existing electrical box required.

When paired with your Cync Smart Bulbs and Plugs, you can have whole-room control from anywhere, including your couch, bed, or desk without the need to launch an app. Plus, with a magnetic back, it adheres to any metal surface for simple, easy-to-find storage.
