NOW WHAT? The world format newcomer award 2018 dealt with the topic of turning points - these moments of uncertainty, triggered by drastic experiences and defining ones. Turning points feel like a vacuum, like the start of a new journey with an uncertain outcome. They demand a decision: a turnaround, a change of direction, or just a swerve?
With my poster design "Spinning Wheel of Death", which reflects the feeling of holding one's breath and trembling that arises as soon as the colourful spinning wheel appears on the screen, I was one of the 20 winners exhibited at the Lucerne Festival.
