Since the film takes place in Moscow, Petersburg and then again in Moscow, the background changed throughout the project. At first it was Moscow with its traditional buildings - the Kremlin, the Ostankino Tower, the monument to the Worker and Collective Farm Girl. Then Petersburg with its drawbridges, lions, the building of the exchange and the Peter and Paul Fortress
