Teen Darwaza is one of the market places in the old city of Ahmedabad. These photographs were taken early in the morning before local shops are ready for business, It was interesting to see how each of these shop owners are sitting in front of their shop without any purpose, just looking and glancing at the crowds. Probably a meditative practise before starting the busy day. The calm on their faces contrasted by the bright background is what inspired me to take these photographs.
