Big Top was conceived in 2016 as a Youmeus studio project and quickly turned into a labour of love during our collaboration with Nude Glass.
Inspired by the rise in consumer desire for more spontaneous and immersive experiences at home, Big Top takes inspiration from ‘the fun of the circus’. We wanted to capture the feel of the high wire acts and the spontaneity of the acrobats, a home barware collection that went beyond just the functional requirements of mixing drinks. A collection of beautiful ‘barware’ things that looks great on display, and a joy to use, helping you deliver home performances in front of your friends.
The shaker and accessories come together to create an object that resembles a juggling pin. Made from a gold finished stainless steel the set contains a shaker, strainer, jigger, bottle stop, stirrer and zester. The serving set consists of a tray, glassware, ice cube bowl, tongs, straws and cocktail sticks.
