Following a successful launch of M-Cuisine™, a microwave cookware range we designed in 2014, Joseph Joseph approached us to explore ideas for a microwave popcorn maker, as an interesting addition to the brands microwave cooking range.
We spend some time researching the popcorn category and identified several key insights and opportunity areas which included; gourmet popcorn, healthy snacking and sharing.
This resulted in the M-Cuisine™ Single-Serve Popcorn Popper, a product that taps into recent shifts towards healthy snacking and the growth of the 'skinny popcorn' trend.
Made from heat-resistant silicone it comes with an integrated measuring guide in the base allowing you to make a single 30g portion. Once your popcorn is ready the lid flaps conveniently open so you know it’s done.
It's small and convenient enough to be stored in a cupboard at home or at work for a quick and healthy snack with the minimum of fuss. Easy to use, simple and convenient.
