When you're celebrating 225 years of anything it's a big deal; so working on this type of project from start to finish needed to carry the weight of that. We had a big team that did so much to logistically prepare for the year ahead. Event planning, Historical, Social Media, Video, Marketing.

For the logo, I really wanted to capture the weight of 225 years within a shield. It took a while before we landed on something, below are a few 225s that I went back and forth on before finally landing on something we all liked for both the University and Athletics sides.
A Campaign for the Entire Campus

This campaign was meant to encompass an entire year, so we wanted to design all types of things to be able to last through the fall semester to the spring; and even into the summer. Designing banners, rally towels, polos, pens, and everything in-between was a fun and eventful process. 
A New Chancellor

Donde Plowman was selected as UT’s ninth chancellor in 2019 while she was executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Plowman served previously on the UT faculty and led the management department in the Haslam College of Business from 2007 to 2010. She took office on July 1, 2019. 
Athletics

Our athletics department wanted a simple logo they could use as the sticker for the back of helmets and also for the field. They were also gracious to help me out when I designed the below to showcase it on here.
