`Mesopotamia` - project of illustrations and design to the novel `Mesopotamia` by Serhiy Zhadan.
The novel consists of nine different stories, united by one city, which placed between two rivers: Lopan and Kharkiv. All the events of the book are concealed in local geography and traditions.
I used the photos of that special places and streets, that were mentioned in the plot, in order to show local charm in the general conception of the book. Imaginary, I settle heroes on the streets, as well as created contact between characters and places on the pictures.

"месопотамія". Ілюстрації і оформлення книжкового блоку до роману Сергія Жадана «Месопотамія». Роман складається з дев’яти різних історій, але їх об’єднує одне місто, що розташувалось муж двома річками - Лопанню і Харковом і всі події ніби зашифровані в місцевій географії та звичаях. Саме цю неповторну «локальність», місцевий колорит мені хотілось відобразити у загальній концепції книги: тому я використовувала фотографії саме тих вулиць і місці, які фігурують в книзі і вже з ними «вступала в контакт» - «ніби поселяючи» вмонтовувала туди героїв роману.
