SUMMARY AND ILLUSTRATION SOLUTION
My goal for this project is to create an illustration on Australian food to sell and release as a stock image. I think Australian food illustrations are popular to sell and will generate downloads because of the growing Australian food culture. As a result many more food blogs and food magazines are coming out online and in print. I believe an organic/manual approach with food illustrations is the way to go, as it is currently a popular trend. As seen above, I have used watercolours to create an enticing and delicate illustration of the classic Aussie meat pie and a sweet strawberry pavlova.

PRODUCTION AND PROCESS
Below are two images I used as reference for my illustration. The first image is a meat pie I bought from the supermarket and the second image is a strawberry pavlova I made from scratch.

The outcome of my illustrations were clean, colourful and delicate, as well as having a well balanced composition with the each food item as the emphasis/ focal point of the illustration. I believe the result of my illustrations were a success because it targets its intended audience of food lovers in an organic and realistic approach.
