Chatterbugs Preschool integrates with the programs at HSC for children with hearing loss and speech delays. These mainstream opportunities are vital to children with special needs and also increase the learning and social growth of children without disabilities. Children at Chatterbug School benefit from both an enriched academic environment and social growing opportunities.
Deliverables: Brand identity and style guide
Concept: Each Chatterbug is inspired by an insect found in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our city bugs include the Western Bumble Bee, Cobalt Milkweed Beetle, and Seven-Spotted Ladybug. The three bugs represent the three classrooms in the school. The bugs are symbolic of speech, hearing, and vision and include a color found in nature (ex: red for ladybugs) and one surprise color (ex: pink for ladybugs) to feature the unique qualities of our students and school community.
Our Teacher bug is a caterpillar inspired by the California Sister Caterpillar. The caterpillar represents our teachers and staff preparing each child for a successful transition to Kindergarten.
