DISTRITO 89
Sergio Gómez is an architect based in Guadalajara and the founder of Distrito 89. In 2015 he started his new architecture firm with the purpose of being a referent of the mexican architecture.
Distrito 89 or D89 portfolio includes a variety of projects and cities of Mexico like Guadalajara, Zapopan, Autlán de Navarro, Puerto Vallarta, Durango, Colima, Comala, Silao and Cajititlán.
The branding was inspired by the Bauhaus School and the style of the some of the greatest architechts of all time including Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Peter Zumthor, Alvar Aalto and Frank Lloyd Wright with the goal of have a timeless and elegant brand.
