REFLECTIONS (November 11, 2019)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The pitch was done well. The group and the pitch managed to
- interest the audience
- surprise them with the animatic
- answer most questions
We need to improve on
- make the story clearer
- make the audience care for the characters
- establish the character's goals
Final Thoughts:
I think that overall, the presentation was well. However, the story should revolve around the main conflict rather than the setting. The primary conflict must be made more clear. The character designs should describe the characters better.
Clash!
Reflection:
- I think the project was a great success. It was tough, and required a lot of hard work, but it was always worth it. The presentation was great, and the story was clear in showing the main conflict. The project at first seemed too ambitious, but we managed to surpass our expectations and managed to complete.
Things that can be improved:
- I think we could have worked better with our time management. We could have made better use of calendars to help us work more efficiently. (setting individual deadlines for example).
- I think our communication could have been better, there was a time when I was working on a scene that had already been completed, because I was not aware was completed.
Things that worked out:
- The project was completed with colour and voice acting. This came as a shock to me because the project was simply too ambitious for us to complete. However it seemed to have worked out because we removed some of the unnecessary scenes.
