The Wayne Bottle Opener was designed the idor brand.  I developed the idor brand as a way to explore the capabilities of rapid prototyping techniques to produce limited edition objects.  For the Wayne Bottle Opener, the technique explored was 3D printing in metal.  It began with the intent of creating a bottle opener.  The form was inspired by the idea of a pipe splitting and rejoining, using the inside edge of the split as the functional edge. The form also optimized material use, strength as well as comfort.  It is the first product for the idor brand. Purchase the Wayne Bottle Opener here!

Responsibilities: Sketch Iteration, CAD development to Quote Stage. Most CAD used for production.
