The ION Series is a collection of 10 albums released between 1992-1993 by Takashi Kokubo. Each album contains 3 tracks, highly experimental pieces that take you on different journeys. Every album feels very spiritual with an almost therapeutic quality.
I decided to select 5 albums from the series and re-imagine them as cassettes. I wanted them to be unique in their own way while also feeling like a connected series of works.
