Good Witch (25cm x 25cm) is a linoprint illustration, created for Mat Pringle’s “Linocut Coven”, an online printmaking exhibit on the theme of “Witches”. Featuring a crew of folklore and mythology inspired printmakers, hand picked by Mat Pringle.
From my library research I found out that printmaking actually made it worse for women by making the idea of evil witches more widespread. This made me decide to use printmaking to make a more positive depiction of witches. You can purchase this print here.
