Multicap Makeables design project 2019

QUT Design Intensive
Images of our design process.
As part of QUT's impact lab 2: People Design Intensive, we were given the privilege to work on a brief given to us by the non-for-profit organisation Multicap. Multicap has a program called Makeables, which provides jobs for people with disabilities. These people working for makable were our clients during this project as we designed a solution to improve their lives in some aspect. Our solution was The Ink Project which is a new creative service in Makeables' workshops that does screen-printing. It provides extra value and credibility to the clients. Screen-printing is not only something that the clients would enjoy doing, but it is a form of advertising as their products are available to customers. Because screen printing is a known hand made product, customers will ask who made it and that will lead back to Makeables, giving them satisfaction and more meaning to their work, which was our main goal.
