Working on some identity pieces for a series of mini-conferences aimed at gathering local developers to show-off their code and learn from each other.

 

The brief called for something simple, iconic, "merit badge" inspired, and easy to play around with. 

 

We'll post some shots once we're further along the process, but would appreciate any feedback you've got now too!

After a few days sitting with the first round of idea, we narrowed things down and went with the above logo. It's tight, iconic, really holds it's own on a number of colours and backgrounds and works well at a number of sizes.

 

We're definitely looking forward to seeing it in action.
