I designed this invitation for Danielle Van Der Grinten, a Portuguese - Dutch business woman, to celebrate her private 50th birthday party in May 2013. Once the the client had provided the dimensions (A5) and textual content, I was given complete liberty to play with typography and color. Since I wanted the typography to be eye-catching and fun, I turned to the work of American type designer and author, Leslie Cabarga, for creative inspiration. The typographic work was done in Adobe Illustrator CS3 and supporting images in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
