Ara Institute of Canterbury is a New Zealand government-funded institute providing world-class, tertiary-level education.

The Ara Advantage bespoke alphabet is a font made within Ara, by our people and students. Representing the wide range of study interest areas provided by the institute.

Each artistic letter photographed is translated to a simplified vector form, to be part to our bespoke family font used on all advertising campaign headlines.

This alphabet is a constant work in progress and is designed to be constantly updated, refined and added to. It’s a great opportunity to keep staff and students engaging and participating in the Ara story.
