Our neighbour, an elder in the community, Don Barrett has a small apple orchard right in town. The road we live on the road named after his father or grandfather. Today he brought over a large brown paper grocery bag filled with his apples. I couldn't help myself and had to photograph them with an old apple crate I have, as a thank you to him. (I made a print and just took over to him.) They are wonderfully tart!
