3D haptic 'emotional' 'meta' contract (Legal Design)

During Legal Geek's Legal Design conference 2018, I was highly inspired by Smarter Drafter CEO Adam Long's 'call to action' to create a 100% visual contract for most common contracts eg wills. Concurrently, I was inspired by Aviva's George Barlow's 'call to action' to create contracts that are accessible to visually impaired people, because braille contracts are too long.
My first design was based on the Mandala shape and disrupted the act of reading to make it one of counting beads which communicated the content of the contract 'haptically'. I was really excited to get encouragement from Adam Long to explore the idea further and structurally translate a contract into a design which could then be 3D printed as a dummy prototype.
The current iteration is a concept for a 3D interactive 'emotional' 'meta' contract which is actually detailing the terms for its own collaboration! We have to be careful as creatives to make sure we set our terms and conditions! The next step would be to collaborate with a lawyer who I analyse a typical formal contract template with and also to 'test' out if the addition of a haptic/ visual interface does ameliorate/ improve the challenge of reading a contract for the user. I believe this should be tested with legal documentation pertaining to divorce/ marital separation as that is when Law and Heartbreak (emotions) often meet.
