- 01 Preparation
Discovery – Research – Stylescape
Line scales and empathy charts are used to discover the voice and identity of the brand. Target demographics, competitions and similar organisations are also examined during this stage.
A brand position is then established, Open Honest Helpful
Research begins by using the brand positioning from the discovery stage and finding images that are associated with these terms.
A mood board is then created with all these images before a more curated stylescape is produced.
- 02 Production
Sketching – Construction – Refinement
Early ideas and concepts are sketched out, these are kept loose and are subject to changes. These sketches are then either cut or developed and moved onto the computer for the next stage.
Here sketches are developed and explored further with new concepts emerging as they are drawn.
Finally a number of concept are taken and refine until a final logo presents it self.
