The V&A series explores the human curiosity of forbidden spaces. Its a project about doorways that lead to hidden worlds and secret objects, its about the imaginations ability to be more powerful than any picture could be. By showing the storage facilities but not the objects, the project allows peoples imagination to do the work. The project is also about the V&A's transition from a traditional museum to a contemporary space for Art & Design. The images move from the traditional storage areas to the hyper futuristic facilities now used, its a story of re-invention.
