➬ A short film promoting the university’s Department of Economics, showing the benefits and advantages of majors in the field of economics through the life story of a typical college student with an interest in economics.

Az egyetem Gazdaságtudományi Tanszékét promováló kisfilm, amely a tipikus gazdasági érdeklődésű egyetemista élettörténetén keresztül bemutatja a gazdasági szakok előnyeit.

➬ I have approached the decision/ the choice of profession as a series of coincidences.

So, I asked the question:

What are the coincidences that guide you towards a certain profession? (a fleeting complement received during childhood, a favourite game, advice received from a new acquaintance, etc.).

➬ This way, the key motif of the film became the notion of destiny. We follow the story of Tamás in 1 minute, finding out what momentary, seemingly random decisions have led to him choosing to major in economics, and to be a successful entrepreneur. The film shows small fragments about what type of youngsters could be interested in economics, and how the university can contribute to them having a successful professional life.

A döntést/ a szakmaválasztást úgy közelítettem meg, mint véletlenek sorozatát.

Tehát feltettem a kérdést:

Melyek azok a véletlenek, amelyek egy bizonyos szakmához terelnek? (gyerekkori kósza dicséret, kedvenc játék, új ismerős tanácsa stb.)

Így a film kulcsmotívuma a sorsszerűség lett. Végigkísérjük 1 percben Tamás történetét, megtudjuk, milyen véletlennek tűnő pillanatnyi döntések vezettek ahhoz, hogy gazdasági szakot válasszon, és hogy sikeres vállalkozó legyen. A film bemutatja apró töredékekből, milyen típusú, kompetenciájú fiatalokat érdekelhet a gazdasági szak, és, hogy az egyetem milyen formában fog hozzájárulni a sikeres életükhöz.

➬ The film utilises light narration, celebrating the success of Tamás’s enterprise through flashbacks to the various moments in his life, which have guided him onto this road.

A film könnyed narrációt használ, Tamás a vállalkozása sikerét ünnepelve flashback-ekben emlékszik vissza, élete különböző pillanataira, amelyek erre az útra terelték.

“I didn’t get a big allowance, so I sold my lunches, my homework, especially in math, and finally, I’ve saved enough money to buy a pair of ice skates.”
