Gieo | Natural Farming Produces E-commerce Site

B A C K G R O U N D :

As industrilised agriculture appears to be the culprit of climate change and public health crisis, the indispensable role of natural farming is gradually acknowledged by global citizens. Hence, I chose it as my subject for graduation project, hoped to raise Vietnamese community’s awareness about this sustainable agricultural practice and encourage them to consume with consciousness.

G O A L :

Gieo is a mindful business which wishes for an e-commerce site not only offering natural farming produces but also disseminating nutritional knowledge of the Vietnamese ancestors, its goal is to convey the message of natural farming accumulated in the Vietnamese agricultural throughout generations while comprehensively embrace

e-commerce principles.

S O L U T I O N

As the Vietnamese has cultivated crops since the dawn of time, our ancestors have developed a wealth of natural cultivation knowledge relying on seasons and soil. These ancient wisdom are still immensely reflected in Vietnamese folklores, poetry, literature and so on. Based on these priceless inherited treasures, the direction is to intertwine folk culture materials (folktales, poetry,...), map and numerous easter eggs with e-commerce to create the engaging natural and cultural discovery. Visual language focuses on the sense of raw and wild but also wise, fun and effortless, and certainly evoke the Vietnamese aesthetic sense.
