Sometimes I feel like I have a split personality when it comes to art.  It is my dream to be an illustrator of children's picture books.  I love art that is illustrative, fun and surprising.  But, I also love fine art and I find great joy in painting figures and landscapes.  And yet those two art forms are so different from each other.  When viewed as a body of work in my studio they do not fit together at all:-).   It's like there are two doors in the soul of my creativity and you have to choose which one to go through depending on which type of art you want to see.  So I did this illustration as a way to represent that.  Not sure what I will use it for....maybe a website? Or a book cover of a collection of my art? Or maybe just hang it on my wall to remind myself that I can't make up my mind:)
