Synopsis
Weyak D stands alone. At his workplace, he is accused of petty theft, but he cannot
defend himself, he has taken a vow of silence and will not break it. He does not lie,
he does not steal and he will not shame his people. But how far can he take his
honor before it ruins his life?
Project Background
Reduced is the final project for a group of 4 Bachelor students studying Applied
Media at Dubai Men's College. The brief was to create a short film that conveyed a
message, but there is no budget and only 4 weeks to produce it from scratch.
Reduced was screened at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in October 2010 as part of the Emirates Competition for short films.
