Nåkaash — Branding

ONE
BRANDING.

The overall idea was to create a stripped back, neutral brand that can be flexible enough to fit any video or photography campaign. The typeface used was a customised version of Helvetica Neue LT Std, with a lowered bar on the triple A. The circle above the first A is realised to resemble a video tripod and can later be used as a simplified ident for the brand on social media and other marketing channels.

TWO
MARK / PATTERN.

Utilising the clients love of hieroglyphics, the A in the logo was used to design a graphical representation of a tripod, which has now become the brand mark. Taking the brand even further, the brand mark was then developed into a pattern which can be used on printed and digital assets i.e. business cards, leaflets, booklets and advertisements.

THREE
WATERMARK.

The video/photography watermark, made to resemble a camera lens cap is formed by combining the natural circles and lines in the NÅKAASH logo that are left behind. The dots around the border and in the image serve as a great way to protect the intellectual property of the clients work. This watermark along with the dots can be used in their proper nature to protect film and photography but can also be as purely design aesthetic.
