My father loved to travel. So does my entire family of 50 (yes, we still live in the same house). And come summer, winter or rain, we would all pack up in my uncle's Tempo Traveller (with a berth in the back for kids) and travel the length and width of the country.
So when I travelled to Kanyakumari from the north of Maharashtra via beautiful villages and roads of Tamilnadu, Andhra, Karnataka, Kerala for over a month, I understood that it's a memory of small things from the place that one takes back with them.
I remember a lake because of my father playing a damru on the boat.
I remember Gulmarg because of a half burried post box in the snow.
My memory of Rajasthan is a magnificent blue gate of a haveli.
At Hampi, I felt like being a part of history while sitting on those grand stairs.
I remember my hair flying like the prayer flags in Leh.
And so I tired to capture the same memories in this series.
I hope you don't ask me a pdf of it to print it for free 😉
