
NOMO WAS CONCEIVED AS A 6-MONTH TAKEOVER POP-UP CONCEPT. BORROWING INSPIRATION FROM THE IDEOLOGY OF MONO NO AWARE; A DEEP APPRECIATION OF THE TEMPORARY; A SPANISH RESTAURANT WAS TRANSFORMED INTO A HOMELY JAPANESE IZAKAYA. FROM STORY TO IDENTITY, WE CRAFTED A WORLD AROUND THE CHEF AND HIS TREASURE CHEST OF COLLECTABLES, WITH EVERY DETAIL TAILORED AS A REFLECTION OF HIS PERSONALITY. AS A FINAL TOUCH, WE REFRESHED THE EXISTING INTERIORS BY SILK-SCREENING OLD NEWSPAPERS TO CREATE WALLPAPER, EMPHASISING THE TRANSIENT NATURE OF THE TAKEOVER.
