The Idea: The goal of this project was to create the perfect gift to bring home from a trip to Canada. The product had to be something meaningful yet useful, while also being interesting and thoughtful. Representing the most iconic symbol of Canada "The Maple Leaf" was the answer to all these Needs! Buying this souvenir one can give the gift of practically a little piece of Canadian in a beautiful box! Included inside is a genuine Maple Tree Seeds with instructions to grow ones own tree within the box provided!
Different Price Points: Made from maple wood or biodegradable cardboard, there are two pried gifts one could purchase. The Maple wood being of a more high quality material, incased and sealed with an acrylic case for the perfect look. This higher priced gift also doubles as a keepsake for any use once the Maple Tree has outgrown the box. On the other had, the biodegradable cardboard version is our cheaper priced gift sealed within a cellophane wrapping. Unlike the wood box, once the tree starts to outgrow the biodegradable cardboard box the owner is instructed to plant the entire gift into the ground, Allowing a tree to from from the once simple sprout.
