Commissioned as part of the new Knowledge Encyclopedia: History by DK Books. The base boat was supplied as a very low res model and required a full rebuild and texturing. The crew started as a single model and clothes and hairstyles were created for the crew and merchants/owners to match the period. Modeling contributions by Moises Guerra. Textured in Substance painter and rendered in V-ray Next for Maya using HDR Light Studio for lighting.
