The duty-free centre is a joint initiative by Malaysia’s leading homegrown luxury and lifestyle retail specialist, Valiram, together with premier property developer Jesselton Waterfront Holdings.
The sea-front mall presents the first downtown travel retail concept in the Land Below the Wind, offering international travellers an opportunity to shop with duty-free perk.
The Jesselton Duty-Free boasts 37,000 sq ft of retail space and brings to Kota Kinabalu city centre an innovative shopping experience featuring luxury beauty, fashion and timepiece brands.

Ideation
Kota Kinabalu formerly known as Jesselton is the state capital of Sabah, Malaysia and the capital of the Kota Kinabalu District.
It is also the capital of the West Coast Division of Sabah. The city is located on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. Inspired by it's ideal location where Jesselton is seated nearby the sea. Lighthouse is the one of the design element chosen for this logo exploration.
